Meet Phaides Mweemba a single mother who has been empowered by the foundation with tailoring skills for her to meet her daily basic needs for the family. Phaides Mweemba is among the less privileged women, single mothers and widows who have been trained with basic surviving skills to reduce poverty levels in the families and community at large.

Luyando Foundation has also helped Phaides Mweemba and her family by sending her daughter who is in grade 10  to a boarding school in partnership with Njovu Zambia through DAPP scholarship program. Miss Phaides Mweemba was very excited to have her daughter Lushamo accepted into a boarding school and this brought joy to Miss Phaides Mweemba and her family.
