LUYANDO WOMEN
The Luyando Women Group is a group comprising women with different backgrounds, education and skills. These women live in the local community where the group is active. They are local mothers, grandmothers, sisters, daughters and aunts who feel a strong responsibility to improve the social and economic well-being of their communities.

Luyando Foundation is committed to empower women and promoting girls’ education in Africa. By supporting us, you are helping the women to achieve their independence and a state of wellbeing through the provision of income generation, activities (skills), literacy and training in health-related topics. You can make a meaningful difference in the lives of others by becoming a volunteer for the Luyando Foundation. Whatever your talents you may have, you can make a difference in your own unique way for the women and girls in Africa Zambia.
LUYANDO YOUTH
In 2013, the Luyando Foundation in Zambia started a new empowerment program for teenagers (age 12-20). The aim of this Youth Project is to bring young people together in the name of sports, such as netball and football, and to educate them on how to prevent HIV/AIDS, other sexually transmitted diseases, and (teenage) pregnancy. Also, they are educated on the risks of substance (alcohol and drug) abuse.

We also believe that empowering women and girls in Africa improves health and economical standards for the family and the whole community.
