Luyando Foundation Sports Academy

Luyando Foundation is dedicated to empowering the youths using Sports as a tool. The foundation has a well-established Sports Academy called Luyando Foundation Sports Academy. The Academy has both boys’ and girls’ teams ranging from u10 up to u23. Luyando Foundation girls’ team is currently competing in the Football Association of Zambia Lusaka Provincial Women’s League. The academy has a very active u19 boys’ team which is also competing in the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) U19 Zone 3 league, a Super Amateur team which is currently competing in the Lusaka Football Association.  The academy undertakes educational, health and social programs using Sports.

Luyando Foundation helps girls, boys and teens on how they can overcome different life issues that surround them. Among the social development issues, we address include HIV/AIDS, Sexual Reproductive Health Rights, Teen Pregnancies, Early Marriages, Mental Health related issues, Education, Governance and Hygiene education as well as Substance and Drug Abuse. Luyando Foundation Girls FC currently operates and helps children and youths from Chibolya, Kanyama, John Laing, George, Mtendere, Misisi Compounds and other communities in Lusaka. It is however of paramount importance to note that Luyando Foundation Sports Academy is based in the Kanyama constituency in Lusaka and use Chinika Secondary School ground as its home ground
